Our vision is to establish a place for families to engage in prayer together, and for parents to partner with the CEC to raise up their children as intercessors, worshippers, and musicians. These prayer meetings will enable us to take the training that we have given in the Harp and Bowl clinics to another level and give the children an opportunity to learn how to actively engage in a prayer meeting, participate on a team, and lead a group of people in intercession for a sustained length of time.
Under the leadership of Lenny LaGuardia, the Executive Director, and Carol Hall, the Director of Worship, the Malachi 4:6 Family Prayer Meetings will be split up into two one-hour prayer meetings, held every Tuesday from 10:00am–12:00pm.
Our prayer meetings will be structured around twenty-minute prayer themes focused on the Church of Kansas City, our government, missionaries, local schools, and many other topics. Intercession times will also include times of small-group prayer, rapid-fire prayer, and laying hands on those who are sick.
Please join us and other families during this exciting new season of training and raising up the future leaders of the prayer movement. You do not have to be on IHOP–KC staff to come to these prayer meetings. Children of all ages will be encouraged to participate in each of the prayer meetings; howeve,r children under the age of six will need to be accompanied by their parents.
For additional information on how your family can be involved, please email Carol Hall at carolhall@ihop.org or the CEC office at cec@ihop.org.
