Awakening Teen Camp 09
Here at IHOP–KC, our ideal summer camp is one that exhorts young people to live for a higher vision—to cry out as David did in Psalm 27:4 for “one thing.” We want them to end their summer with an awakened heart and spirit.
The purpose of ATC is to call young people away for a few weeks to immerse themselves in an environment where they can encounter God’s heart. ATC’s vision is to cultivate hunger for God’s Word and prayer in young people, and to train them to spread the gospel of the kingdom in their hometowns. The camp is “unplugged,” meaning no cell phones or Internet access, to create an atmosphere for intense focus on the Lord. ATC is a safe place for young people ages 12–18 to discover spiritual gifts, study God’s Word, grow in prayer, and learn how to use natural talents as evangelistic tools.

The first Awakening Teen Camp is drawing to a close, and hundreds of teens have been engaging in the prayer room and receiving biblical teaching from IHOP–KC speakers. We are excited to hear testimonies from those attending the camps as they encounter God’s heart and learn more about the Word, prayer, and Jesus’ second coming.

An extra week-long session after each main session is available for those teens wanting leadership training. Leadership Intensives focus on leadership development and learning how to lead a prayer meeting as a singer, musician, or intercessor.
