This is an easy reading book, but its a book I have read over and over. You want to get this foundational teaching into your heart. From God's heart everything just makes sense. You can know the emotions of God He wants to raise you into a "David" or "Mary". Get this book and keep with your bible for a few months. You'll get more value from this book than you could get for $20 bucks anywhere else.

Also great to give someone who does not know much about IHOP or Mike.

My mom bought this book for me a while back, and it was an awesome book to absorb. It touches on numerous aspects of what walking with God is all about, and it obviously gives a good deal of teaching throuh David's life. I'll definitely be going back and reading it again soon.

Thsi was an amazing book. Mike really loves God and it comes shining out of this book. It rookme longer than usual to read - not because it was hard or boring, but because it was so new and fresh and challenging I kept on having to stop and pray every few pages! Read this if you are dissatisfied with an 'average' faith. You will be amazed how much more there is. Thank you.

This book changed my life. It helped me walk out some of the cycles that we go through in this journey. I want like David to be a man of One Thing! I totally love this book. A warning if you loan it out you might as well go buy another copy. The people I loaned them to refuse to give them back. It really is that good!

I bought this book for my husband but he has yet found the time to read it. So during a 21 day fast I came across this book in our personal library. I am currently reading the book and it has already changed my life. It is taking me awhile to read because I keep stopping, taking notes and praying. This book will impact your life. I can't wait for my husband to read this!
