This is by far the best book out there on growing in intimacy with God. A book on fasting doesn't sound all that fun, but it will shake you like nothing else. As for myself, reading this book was like having a heart transplant. This book will reveal God's perfect love for you and how you can love Him with all your heart! If you are looking for a book on growing in intimacy with God, THIS IS THE BOOK YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!

This is a really good book about why and how you should fast. I am a beginner, and i am encouraged by this book that it is attainable. i just need some prayer that i will be doing this regularly, cause i need big grace for this.

I have read a few books on fasting now and this was by far the best. It speaks so much to what God is doing in the church now and why we should ALL have fasting as part of our lifestyle. It gave great insight that other books on the subject were lacking. Mike Bickle has an amazing gift for revealing the truth in God's word. I highly recommend this book!

This book was a great resource for for understanding the motive behind fasting and just explaining the tenderizing that the Lord will do to your heart through fasting and prayer. Great for a first timer and a person who lives the fasting lifestyle.

I've had this book for a couple of years and go back to it again and again for continued motivation to pursue fasting. This book is about fasting and much more. It is really packed with truth that unfolds and seems to hit me when I need. For me it's a call to a deeper life that goes beyond "crisis" fasting to one where my life will be turned upside down. The action plan to be in the Word alone is worth the price of the book. There is much to be gleaned over time from this great book!
