Biblical Foundations Classes are for children ages 6–12. Our aim is to give young children an overview of each book of the Bible and to teach important biblical themes such as the first and great commandment to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength; .
Class size is limited. Registration is for the whole course; children cannot register on a monthly basis. Registration forms are available in all CEC locations. If you have any questions, please contact us at cec@ihop.org.
Malachi 4:6 Family Prayer Meetings
Tuesday, 10:00am–12:00pm and 3:00–5:00pm, CEC Blue Ridge Building
“And He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers . . . ” (Mal. 4:6)
Our family prayer meetings provide a place for families to engage in prayer together and for parents to partner with CEC to raise up their children as intercessors, worshipers, and musicians. These prayer meetings build on the training children receive in the harp and bowl model of worship and prayer, and give the children an opportunity to learn how to actively engage in a prayer meeting, participate on a team, and lead a group of people in intercession.
Children of all ages are encouraged to participate, but children under the age of twelve must be accompanied by their parents.
The Samuel Company

February 2–April 12, 2012
The Samuel Company is a prayer room intensive for children ages 8–12 intended to raise up the next generation of intercessory missionaries by preparing them for the message of John 3:29—become a friend of the Bridegroom who stands and hears His voice.
We believe that training children in the context of prayer is foundational to a life of holiness. We desire to see a company of young people who refuse to be satisfied with the things of this world, but, instead, give themselves to the Lord, longing for His return.
Dinner is provided during the intensive. Each child is placed in a small group led by a NightWatch staff member and taught by CEC and IHOP–KC leadership staff.

Equipping the Smaller Saints
Third Saturday of each month, 4:00–6:00pm, CEC Blue Ridge Building
Equipping the Smaller Saints is a training class for those who desire to connect and serve with the Children’s Equipping Center. We strongly encourage and invite church leaders, parents, and anyone whose heart is moved to raise up the next generation under the Malachi 4:6 mandate to come and be trained and equipped. No registration is necessary.
Encounter God Services
Friday, 6:00–10:00pm
We want to teach children to have understanding and might in their inner man and to be a generation that knows and understands their God (Jer. 9:24). We have designed the Equipping Center to teach and equip children in a foundational way on topics such as the love of God, the Word of God, who we are in Christ, the cross, prayer, healing and prophecy, and the second coming of Jesus.

Early Childhood, Ages 1–5
Each week children are taught the apostolic prayers of the New Testament, which will equip them to live a lifestyle of prayer, empower them to understand what God desires for His people, and begin to write the Word of God on their hearts.
Elementary, Ages 6–12
