IHOP–KC Partners
Do all of my donations directly support the missions base?
No matter the amount of your gift, one hundred percent of the funds go directly to the IHOP–KC Missions Base. This includes everything from the practical operation of the prayer room to helping support full-time intercessors, worship leaders, singers, and musicians.
Are worship leaders, singers, and musicians supported with any of my donations?
Yes. We provide small stipends to some full-time staff as needed. However, most of our staff build their own financial support team of individuals who partner with them financially and with prayer. As we are able, we help these worshipers and intercessors with small missionary stipends as they pour themselves out day by day before the Lord. Our intercessory missionaries are committed to living a fasted lifestyle of simplicity.
How much does it cost to operate the prayer room per day?
It costs approximately $12,000 per twenty-four hour period to operate the prayer room, $5,000 of which funds the singers and musicians. This is for the prayer room expenses only, and is not indicative of the cost of the rest of the missions base operations.
How do IHOP–KC staff members support themselves financially?
IHOP–KC staff members commit to raise their own financial support through the development of a personal partner team. They communicate with those in their home churches, family, and friends, and cast the vision for the raising up of full-time intercessors. Some part-time staff members are employed by businesses in the area to supplement their monthly needs. When possible, IHOP–KC loves to help support our missionaries with small missionary stipends. Your gifts make that possible.
Am I an IHOP–KC Partner if I give every month?
Yes. With a recurring gift of $30 or more, you are considered an IHOP–KC Partner. Whether you give monthly or one lump sum on an annual basis, you are a Partner.
Why do you have to ask me for credit card information again if I have already given it?
In order to keep your credit card information secure, we assign in its place an authorization code. The authorization code is stored in our system, but your actual credit card number is not. In addition, the authorization code assigned to you expired annually. We follow up periodically to re-verify your information. While it may seem redundant, it maximizes your credit card number’s security.
Can I have IHOP–KC automatically debit my bank account or credit card each month?
You can sign up online to have your gift come through auto-deduction from your debit or credit card each month. If you don’t have a Partners account, you can simply follow this link to our giving site, where you can activate your Partners account. If you feel more comfortable giving monthly by check, please write “Partners” in the memo line to ensure that your check is properly directed for your monthly pledge. Our Partners staff can walk you through an online account set-up if you need help. Contact partners@ihop.org or 816.763.0200 X. 2529.
How do I change the amount of my monthly gift?
The process for changing your monthly giving amount is easier if you contact the Partners office directly. The Partners staff can make changes to your giving account quickly and efficiently.
Can I choose a date for my donations to be deducted?
You can designate the day you want your monthly gift deducted from your credit card when you sign up online. Your credit or debit card will be auto-deducted on the day of your choice; for example, on the 15th of every month.
Can I give online?
Yes. You can follow this link to our online donations page, or you can read more about ways to donate. On the donations page, log in to your Partners account. If you don’t have a Partners account, it is very easy to create one by following the instructions on the page. In your account, you can designate a gift—either a special gift or a recurring gift for the amount you feel the Lord has placed on your heart. You can set up your monthly gift to be auto-deducted from your debit or credit card on a specific day each month. At any time, you can access your account if you wish to give a special gift to other areas of need on the missions base.
How do I designate my check to the IHOP–KC Partner Program?
Make your check out to “IHOP–KC” and write “Partner Program” in the memo line. Please remember to include the name on the Partner account if it differs from the name on the check.
Do I receive a receipt for my gifts to IHOP–KC?
A receipt of your gifts to IHOP–KC is sent to you in two ways: monthly and annually. You will receive a monthly receipt showing a summary of your gifts to IHOP–KC from the previous month. If you have given more than $250 in one calendar year, we will automatically generate your annual giving statement at the close of each year. It will be mailed to you by February of the following year.
What if my giving statement is incorrect?
If you discover that your gifts to IHOP–KC are not accurately reflected on your annual tax statement or monthly receipt, the business office requires a written inquiry of any problem or question you have about your annual statement. Email contributions@ihop.org to ask questions about your giving statement.
Why do the donations I have sent by check not reflect in the “My Area” section? Did you receive them?
Our online giving system only displays a record of your online giving through your credit card. Checks sent to us are received and recorded into our offline accounting system, and will be reflected in your monthly giving receipt. You may always contact us if you have questions regarding your donation.
I still have questions not answered here. Can I call or email?
